INGREDIENTS

  • 400 g (7 THALASSES) shrimp, peeled & headless 26/30
  • 200 g medium barley
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 200 g tomato sauce
  • 3-4 grains of allspice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 tsp parsley, finely chopped

METHOD

  1. Sauté the shrimps in olive oil in a pan for 5 minutes.
  2. Add tomato paste, tomato juice, water and then all the spices and herbs.
  3. Let boil for about 15 minutes. Add the boiled barley and mix well.
  4. Garnish with freshly ground pepper, chopped parsley and grated cheese!
