INGREDIENTS

  • 600gr of (7 THALASSES) squid rings
  • 150gr bulgur
  • 1 pcs/200 gr tomatoes
  • 1 pcs/200 gr onion
  • 2 pcs/200 gr multicoloured peppers
  • 40 gr dill
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 40 ml ouzo (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp garlic
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

METHOD

  1. Defrost the squid rings according to the instructions on the packaging.
  2. Finely chop the onion and peppers, grate the tomato in a food processor and chop the squid rings into thick pieces.
  3. Sauté the vegetables in a non-stick frying pan until soft and add the squid rings.
  4. Add the tomato paste, ouzo and let it evaporate.
  5. Add about 1 glass of water, the tomato juice and the spices.
  6. Lower the heat and stir for about 20 minutes until it becomes “mushy”.
  7. Finely chop the dill and serve.
